Welcoming the Season with Shuffleboard and Sunshine

Now that spring is in full swing, it’s the perfect time to refresh outdoor spaces and enjoy the beauty of the season. At The Rushwood Senior Living, our team works hard to ensure the grounds are safe, inviting, and ready for residents to enjoy.

To prepare for the season, we coordinate an in-person walk-through with our landscaping contractor. Together, we assess winter damage to grass and plants and make a plan for new spring planting in beds and planters. This proactive approach helps keep our grounds fresh, colorful, and blooming.

As the weather warms, residents have more opportunities to connect during outdoor events. Spring brings plenty of excitement, including our annual Easter Egg Hunt, relaxing happy hours, and friendly shuffleboard and cornhole tournaments. These events offer fun ways to stay active, socialize, and enjoy the sunshine.

A well-maintained outdoor environment adds much more than aesthetic value. It fosters a sense of comfort, safety, and well-being.
